Rangers recall forward Marek Hrivik from Hartford

PITTSBURGH (AP) The New York Rangers have recalled forward Marek Hrivik from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
General manager Jeff Gorton announced the move Wednesday, hours before the Rangers opened a first-round playoff series with the Penguins in Pittsburgh.
Hrivik skated in five games with the Rangers this season, finishing with an assist and a plus-three rating. He played in 68 games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering 12 goals and 29 assists.
