Artem Anisimov had a goal and an assist, but the New York Rangers finished their preseason with an 8-4 loss to Swiss team EV Zug on Monday.

A busy schedule of four games in five days on their European tour seemed to catch up with the Rangers, who quickly fell behind 2-0.

Ryan Callahan, Mike Rupp and Ruslan Fedotenko also scored for New York.

Former Los Angeles Kings forward Esa Pirnes had two goals for Zug.
