NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Nashville Predators have waived forward Derek Roy and assigned forward Viktor Stalberg to the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.

The Predators announced the moves Sunday.

Roy signed a one-year deal with Nashville this offseason, and he had 10 points in 26 games, ranking him ninth in scoring.

Stalberg has appeared in only five games for Nashville after being hurt in training camp and injuring a knee while on conditioning assignment in Milwaukee.
