Predators' O'Brien suspended 2 games

Nashville Predators defenseman Shane O'Brien was suspended two games by the NHL on Friday.

O'Brien, who will lose $39,024.40 in salary, was penalized for a high-sticking incident against Florida's Stephen Weiss on in the Panthers' 3-2 win Thursday night.

O'Brien, who has two goals and five assists with 41 penalty minutes in 43 games this season, will miss the Predators' home-and-home series with Chicago this weekend.
