Penguins score twice in 2nd period in 4-3 win over Sabres

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Rookie Scott Wilson sparked a two-goal second period and extended his goal streak to three games in leading the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday afternoon.

The Penguins beat Buffalo for the eighth straight time and also got goals from Patric Hornqvist, Phil Kessel and Matt Cullen, who scored on a short-handed breakaway in the third period.

Kris Letang had three assists and Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 24 shots in returning after missing a game due to illness.

Zach Bogosian scored twice, and added an assist, and Brian Gionta had a goal and assist for Buffalo, which had a 3-0-1 streak snapped. Bogosian's second goal came with 22 seconds left and Buffalo's net empty.
