Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin had no qualms altering his appearance on Tuesday.

Malkin donned a pair of familiar taped glasses as the Penguins honored the Hanson Brothers from the movie "Slap Shot" before facing the Tampa Bay Lightning in a preseason game at Johnstown, Pa.

The former Hart Trophy winner wore the glasses during warmups and even posed for a photo as linemates Patric Hornqvist and rookie Sergei Plotnikov got into it with the famous brothers from the 1977 hockey film.

"It's a good memory," Malkin told NHL.com of posing with the fictional brothers. "... I got a picture and had to show my parents. It's unbelievable."

Despite the festivities surrounding the game, Malkin kept the gloves on and joined Plotnikov by collecting a goal and an assist to lift the Penguins to a 4-2 victory.
