Oilers score 3 times in third, top Islanders 3-1

EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) Leon Draisaitl, Anton Lander and Brandon Davidson all scored in the third period for Edmonton, helping the Oilers snap a seven-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over the New York Islanders on Sunday night.

Cam Talbot made 36 saves in his seventh consecutive start for the Oilers.

Casey Cizikas scored for the Islanders, who had won the previous three games of a season-high seven-game road trip.
