New York Islanders Daily: Dal Colle Trying To Build Off Of Bridgeport Stint
A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.
New York Islanders prospect Michael Dal Colle heads into camp looking to build off of his stint from Bridgeport. This camp is a little different for him because it’ll be his first year as a pro.
Dal Colle who recently got passed over by Mathew Barzal as the next Islanders prospect to make the big club, will most likely start the year at Bridgeport. Unfortunately for the Islanders they have a crowded forward group which doesn’t leave a lot of room for prospects.
Dal Colle says that it’s different to play pro than Juniors. He’s not just going up against kids his own age like he normally does in Juniors.
Dal Colle is a talented kid. I don’t expect him to make the team out of camp, but he will start the year in Bridgeport. He will get his chance eventually, it’s just a matter of being patient.
