New York Islanders Daily: Building Chemistry On The Top Line
A look around the web at the most recent New York Islanders news. Make Eyes On Isles your go to website for all things Islanders.
The New York Islanders top line will look different this year. John Tavares will be the familiar face but there are two new additions in Andrew Ladd and P.A. Parenteau. The Islanders will have to build chemistry pretty quick.
Arthur Staple talked to Andrew Ladd about it and he said:
“All players are different, especially offensively. He’s probably a guy who wants a little more space, take guys one-on-one in the corner, stuff like that. Just getting a feel for where he’s going to be in certain situations and just have the ability to talk it out from there.”
The Islanders top line may initially struggle because of the lack of time they’ve had together. Jack Capuano would be wise to keep this line together and let them figure each other out. Once they do they will be a real productive line.
Hopefully P.A. Parenteau remembers what 2010 and 2011 were like and I trust Andrew Ladd to get up to speed rather quickly.
