Montreal's Subban calls out Tampa goalie Bishop
Before Game 4 of the second-round playoff series between the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning, Montreal did not have much offense to brag about. But after Montreal scored six times against the Lightning in Game 4, the Canadiens looked confident in their scoring abilities on the ice and sounded even more confident off of it.
Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban took it a step further when he seemed to call out Tampa Bay goaltender Ben Bishop.
"I think Bishop has kind of been sitting on a horseshoe there," Subban told reporters after the game.
It was a bold statement to make about a goaltender who had stopped 100 of 104 shots entering Game 4, but Bishop was not nearly as sharp Thursday night. He made 11 saves on 14 shots before he was pulled early in the second period of Game 4 in favor of backup Andrei Vasilevskiy.
