NEW YORK (AP) Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban has been fined $3,000 for diving in a game against Ottawa, his third fine in three months.

He paid up after getting warnings twice in January for diving against Tampa Bay and the New York Rangers. A third citation for the dive on March 12 against the Senators triggered the $3,000 fine.

If he gets another warning this season, he will be fined an additional $4,000, and Montreal coach Michel Therrien must pay a $2,000 penalty.
