Greg Scott scored twice to help the Toronto Marlies beat the Hamilton Bulldogs on Saturday in the American Hockey League's Outdoor Classic.
A crowd of 20,565 attended the game in sunny, 25-degree conditions at Ivor Wynne Stadium.
''It was great fun to watch our guys be so excited before the game,'' Marlies coach Dallas Eakins said. ''They were like little kids, amped up. And then when they saw that the place was full, they were really excited.''
Nicolas Deschamps, Mike Zigomanis, Drew Paris, Marcel Mueller and Joe Colborne also scored, and Ben Scrivens made 19 saves for the Marlies, the Toronto Maple Leafs' farm team. Dany Masse and Louis Leblanc scored for Hamilton, the Montreal Canadiens' affiliate.
