MacLean keeps it brief (really brief)

To say that Ottawa Senators head coach Paul MacLean kept things brief after his team was manhandled in a 7-3 loss to Pittsburgh on Wednesday would be an understatement.

MacLean did not take questions from the assembled media after the game, which gave the Penguins a 3-1 series lead. Instead, he issued one quick statement before walking away from the podium in a news conference that lasted all of 20 seconds.

“I think everything’s right here,” MacLean said, pointing to the game notes. “It’s 7-3. See you in Pittsburgh. We’re going to Pittsburgh, and we’re coming to play. Have a good night.”

Boom.
