Luke Adam back with Sabres for third time this season

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Luke Adam from the minors to fill in for injured Marcus Foligno.

Adam has a goal in 10 games with Buffalo in rejoining the Sabres for the third time this season. He is currently leading the Sabres' AHL affiliate in Rochester with 27 goals in 53 games.

The call-up comes with Buffalo (21-46-9) on a three-game road trip, playing at Detroit on Friday.

Foligno was hurt early into a 2-1 loss at St. Louis on Thursday. He is expected to miss the final week of the season.
