ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) The Anaheim Ducks have recalled top prospect Nick Ritchie and center Michael Sgarbossa from the AHL.

The Ducks also assigned left wing Max Friberg and defenseman Korbinian Holzer to their affiliate in San Diego on Saturday, and placed center Chris Wagner on waivers.

Ritchie was the 10th overall pick in the 2014 draft. The 19-year-old power forward has nine goals in 12 games in San Diego to begin his first pro season.

Ritchie could make his NHL debut Monday at Carolina. The Ducks (5-8-4) desperately need more offense after scoring a league-low 29 goals in 17 games.
