Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop, who apparently sustained an injury in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals, danced around questions at media availability on Monday.

In fact, Bishop avoided giving a straight answer about his status so often that he compared himself to someone who routinely evades media questions: Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch.

Bishop, teammate Steven Stamkos and coach Jon Cooper have been noncommittal on whether the 6’7″ ‘tender or 20-year-old Andrei Vasilevskiy will start Game 3.

Tampa Bay and the Chicago Blackhawks split the opening games of the championship series, which continues Monday night at the United Center in Chicago. Puck drop is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Maybe Bishop will stand between the posts, maybe he won’t.

Maybe Bishop will fill his water bottle with Skittles instead of some high-quality H2O, maybe he won’t.

No word on if Bishop attended media availability so he won’t get fined.
