Tampa Bay Lightning assistant coach Wayne Fleming is back at practice less than a week after surgery to remove a brain tumor.

Fleming watched practice from the stands Tuesday. The team says his involvement in the postseason will be based on his level of comfort. His operation was last Thursday.

Fleming is in his first season with the Lightning. He has been watching videotape to help Tampa Bay prepare for the playoffs.

Tampa Bay will be making its first postseason appearance since 2007 in Game 1 of an Eastern Conference quarterfinal Wednesday night at Pittsburgh.
