Kings get Stoll back for Game 1 against Blackhawks

Published Jun. 1, 2013 6:19 p.m. ET

Jarret Stoll has returned to the Los Angeles Kings lineup on Saturday for the opener of the Western Conference finals against the Chicago Blackhawks.

The center, one of the Kings' best players on faceoffs, has been sidelined with a suspected concussion since he was struck with an illegal hit to the head by San Jose's Raffi Torres in Game 1 of Los Angeles' second-round series against the Sharks.

Torres was suspended by the NHL for the remainder of the series.

Stoll has been skating with the team for several days. He had seven goals and 11 assists in 48 games in the regular season.
