Michael Frolik had a power-play goal, Carl Klingberg also scored, and Eric Tangradi assisted on both in the Winnipeg Jets' 3-2 preseason win over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.

Anthony Peluso added a goal for the Jets, who hung on for their first preseason win after building a 3-0 lead.

Mitchell Moroz started the Oilers' comeback with 3:29 left, with an assist from Philip Larson, and Larson put in a goal of his own less 23 seconds later.

Regular starter Ondrej Pavelec made his preseason debut and stopped 22 of 24 shots for the Jets (1-1-1).

The Oilers (1-1-1) got 26 saves from Richard Bachman, who played the entire game.

After a scoreless first, Frolik banged in Tangradi's rebound at 8:45 of the second during a power play.

The Jets were still celebrating Peluso's goal that made it 3-0 when Moroz spoiled Pavelec's shutout. Larsen quickly brought the Oilers within one.
