Islanders-Red Wings delayed by Zamboni malfunction

DETROIT (AP) The start of the third period of the game between the New York Islanders and Detroit Red Wings has been delayed for 20 minutes after the ice was damaged by one of the Zambonis between periods.

Ice repairs are continuing, and no time has been given for the game's resumption.

Detroit leads 4-0 after two periods.
