Hanzal out with lower-body injury

The Phoenix Coyotes have placed center Martin Hanzal on injured reserve with a lower body injury and recalled center Andrew Ebbett from San Antonio of the AHL.

Hanzal was injured in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Anaheim and is expected to be out 1-2 weeks. He had one goal in four games.

Ebbett played a career-high 59 NHL games last season with Minnesota and Chicago, scoring nine goals with six assists.
