With the announcement of the winners of each NHL award comes the announcement of final voting tallies, and the votes for Jack Adams (coach of the year) were interesting to say the least.
Former Leafs coach Randy Carlyle somehow managed to earn one third-place vote for the honor, which is interesting considering Carlyle was fired by the Leafs on Jan. 6. Then again, Carlyle did go 21-16-3 with the Leafs during the 2014-15 season while the team won just nine of its final 42 games without him.
NHL fans had fun with the vote on Twitter of course.

If nothing else, perhaps Carlyle can add this honor to his resume as he continues to hunt for a job.
(h/t NHL)
¯_(ツ)_/¯ RT@Jeffler Randy Carlyle got more Jack Adams votes than Joel Quenneville.
