Faulk leading U.S. to strong start at worlds

Published May. 8, 2015 2:27 a.m. ET

Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Justin Faulk has led the Americans in ice-time at the IIHF World Championships. Faulk has provided a steady blue-line presence that had sparked the team to the highest point total in Group B. That changed after the United States lost to Belarus 5-2 on Thursday morning, but they will be back in action Friday against Denmark, looking to bounce back from their poor showing.
