Ehrhoff expected to miss final 3 games
Buffalo Sabres defenseman Christian Ehrhoff is expected to miss the final week of the season, while blue-liner Tyler Myers has a chance to return.
Coach Lindy Ruff provided the update on his injured players after practice Monday.
Ehrhoff has missed two games since hurting his left knee against Washington last week. Ruff said Ehrhoff's injury doesn't require surgery, and added he could return if the Sabres make the postseason.
Myers did not practice Monday, and has missed one game since taking a shot off his foot in a loss to Pittsburgh on Friday.
The Sabres (38-31-10) have three games left, starting with their home finale against Toronto on Tuesday. Buffalo entered the day ninth in the Eastern Conference, two points behind Washington. The Capitals hold the tiebreaker.
