Goalie Jeff Deslauriers has agreed to a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
The Ducks announced the deal on Tuesday.
Deslauriers spent parts of two seasons from 2008-10 as a backup goalie with the Edmonton Oilers, winning 20 games with a 3.01 goals-against average. The former high draft pick has never reached his NHL potential, spending last season in the AHL.
Deslauriers is likely to compete with Dan Ellis in Anaheim for the backup job behind All-Star goalie Jonas Hiller.

The Ducks haven't re-signed Ray Emery, who filled in for the injured Hiller during the Ducks' run to the Western Conference playoffs.
The Ducks also acquired speedy center Andrew Cogliano from Edmonton for a second-round draft pick in 2013.
