Jamie Langenbrunner of the New Jersey Devils will be the captain of the U.S. hockey team at next month's Olympics.

USA Hockey also said Monday the alternate captains will be Devils teammate Zach Parise, Nashville's Ryan Suter, Los Angeles' Dustin Brown and Detroit defenseman Brian Rafalski.

Langenbrunner, the Devils captain, is one of three U.S. hockey players with Olympic experience. Rafalski is a three-time Olympian along with New York Rangers captain Chris Drury.

The 34-year-old Langenbrunner hasn't been in the Olympics since the 1998 Nagano Games, the first to feature NHL players. He was a Stanley Cup champion with the Dallas Stars in 1999 and New Jersey in 2003.
