Coyotes sign Boedker to 2-year deal

The Phoenix Coyotes have signed left wing Mikkel Boedker to a two-year contract.

Terms of the deal were not released Saturday.

A restricted free agent, Boedker did not file for arbitration because he believed a deal with the Coyotes would get done before the start of training camp.

The 23-year-old from Denmark had seven goals and 19 assists during the lockout-shortened 2012-13 season. Boedker has 34 goals and 61 assists in parts of five seasons with the Coyotes.
