Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- Hossa Injured
Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! Marian Hossa was injured last night in a World Cup exhibition game which has to be the worst fear of every Chicago Blackhawks fan and their front office.
So there you have it! The worst fear of every fan and every general manager around the NHL, and every head coach when the news broke that Marian Hossa was injured in a World Cup exhibition last night.
This is why these kind of tournaments went away because the players in the NHL make too much money playing for their teams, and if they get injured playing in an exhibition game or a tournament that means really nothing is completely pointless.
So for a player that you just wished was bypassing the World Cup like Marian Hossa who really looked like his talent had slipped last season and could use all the rest possible before the 2016-2017 season kicks off.
But of course he decided to play for his country in the return of the World Cup and now he’s been taken to the hospital but it’s not supposed to be serious and he will be traveling with his team.
Now there are still weeks of this World Cup tournament about to be played, and guess what, there are more Chicago Blackhawks out there playing so we will have a lot of sleepless nights heading into training camp.
