Forward Steve Ott signed a two-year contract with the St. Louis Blues, the team announced Thursday. CapGeek.com says the contract is worth $5.2 million.
The 31-year-old center had three assist and was a minus-12 in 23 games with the Blues after being traded along with goaltender Ryan Miller from Buffalo last season. Miller has moved on, signing with Vancouver, but Ott has decided to stick around in Missouri. He finished 2013-14 with nine goals, 14 assists, and 92 penalty minutes.
Ott, a first-round pick by the Dallas Stars in 2000, has 103 goals and 164 assists in 11 seasons playing for the Stars, Sabres and Blues.
