Capitals acquire Stefishen from Preds

The Washington Capitals acquired left wing Taylor Stefishen from the Nashville Predators on Thursday for a conditional pick in the 2013 draft.

Stefishen, 20, spent last season with the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League. He had 24 goals and 43 assists in 68 regular-season games.

Stefishen was a fifth-round draft pick by the Predators in 2008. He is scheduled to attend the Capitals' rookie camp in July.
