Daniel and Henrik Sedin each had a goal and an assist, and Roberto Luongo made 28 saves in the Vancouver Canucks' 4-1 preseason win over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.

Guillaume Desbiens and rookie Jordan Schroeder also scored as Vancouver won its first game of the preseason (1-3-0). They Canucks were unbeaten in regulation the past two preseasons (13-0-3) before losing the first three this year.

Former Canuck Josh Green scored Anaheim's only goal on a deflection with 7:18 left to end Luongo's bid for a shutout in his first full preseason game.

Jonas Hiller, also playing the entire game for the first time, made 21 saves for the Ducks (2-2-0), who rested top forwards Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry after both played in San Jose the night before.

Veterans Peter Schaefer and Brendan Morrison, who are both on tryout contracts for the Canucks team they played with earlier in their careers, each had an assist.

Canucks assistant coach Rick Bowness ran the Vancouver bench after head coach Alain Vigneault left to attend a personal matter in Quebec. He is expected back for Sunday's game in Edmonton, which will also mark the preseason debut of top prospect Cody Hodgson.

Selected 10th overall in the 2008 draft, Hodgson was expected to make the team last year, but struggled in the exhibition with a back injury that caused him to miss most of the season.
