Canadiens' Pacioretty skates, but playoff status remains uncertain

TORONTO -- Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty, who has been out injured, skated on Saturday morning in Montreal.

But Canadiens coach Michel Therrien said the forward's status for the start of the playoffs is still uncertain.

Pacioretty hasn't played since April 5 when he slammed into the boards in a game against the Florida Panthers.

He was later ruled out of the final three games of the regular season.

Therrien said Saturday it was ''good news'' that Pacioretty was on the ice.

''He's reacted really well to the treatment that he got,'' Therrien said after the team's morning skate at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

''But I don't have much more news because I haven't talked to the doctor yet.''

Pacioretty leads the Canadiens in goals (30) and points (67).
