Dave Cameron has not the time or patience to go into a detailed history of how big the hockey rivalry is back home between his native Canada and Russia.
With a gold-or-bust objective weighing on him, the Canadian coach is too busy trying to make sure he doesn't end up on the wrong end of that history Wednesday. That's when Canada faces Russia in the World Junior Hockey Championship tournament's title game.
Canada makes its 10th straight appearance in the final. It is attempting to win gold for the sixth time in seven years. The Russians are back in the title game for the first time since 2007, when they lost 4-2 to Canada.
The United States is still in the medal hunt, and prepare to face Sweden in the bronze-medal game Wednesday.
