Buffalo Sabres Fan Chatter: Preseason Game #5, Or The First Against The Hurricanes
The Buffalo Sabres are beginning to look more like themselves as they head out for a set of back-to-back road games.
They’re baaaack!
Yes, Buffalo Sabres fans: Jack Eichel and Ryan O’Reilly have rejoined the team, unscathed from play in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey. While O’Reilly is traveling with the team, he will not be in the lineup tonight when the Sabres play the first of back-to-back games against the Carolina Hurricanes tonight in Marquette, Michigan.
Mr. Eichel, however, will be in the lineup, alongside Sam Reinhart and Evander Kane. Hopefully, the reuniting of Eichel with Reinhart and Kane will allow the Sabres to shake off that 8-1 drubbing they were handed courtesy of the Toronto Maple Leafs last week. Wouldn’t it be nice to see this team be able to score 4 goals in a game?

Dare to dream!
Since the last game was so awful, I pretended as if the Fan Chatter never happened, because I cannot imagine anyone earned any points worth bragging about (unless you are a sadist, that is). Let’s hope the Sabres give us a reason to care about our picks tonight, and to make things really easy, all of my picks come in the form of Yes/No questions today!
Have at ’em:
1. Will the Kane-Eichel-Reinhart line produce a goal tonight? (5 pts.)
2. Will Derek Grant earn a point tonight? (5 pts.)
3. Will Tyler Ennis earn a point tonight? (5 pts.)
4. Will the Sabres score 4 or more goals tonight? (5 pts.)
5. Will the Sabres win tonight? (7 pts.)
Share your Yes/No responses in the comments below and get ready for the Buffalo Sabres to give the winners of the second Kraft Hockeyville USA a reason to become believers! Go Sabres!
