Bruins sign Campbell, three others
The Boston Bruins have signed recently acquired forward Gregory Campbell to a two-year contract.
The team announced the move Thursday, along with a the signings of defenseman Adam McQuaid to a two-year deal and defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk and forward Jeff LoVecchio to one-year contracts.
Campbell, a six-year veteran who had two goals and 15 assists in 60 games for the Florida Panthers last season, was obtained June 22 with wing Nathan Horton for defenseman Dennis Wideman and the 15th pick in last month's draft.
McQuaid has played in 19 NHL games, all last season with Boston. Bodnarchuk played in his only five NHL games after being called up by Boston from Providence of the AHL on April 3. LoVecchio played in 79 games for Providence the past two seasons but has no NHL experience.
