Bruins Frank Vatrano, David Pastrnak deliver an assist to children in need (VIDEO)
As the Christmas season gets into full swing, Boston Bruins forwards Frank Vatrano and David Pastrnak spent a day off helping some children in need find a way to stay warm for the winter. The pair of Bruins teamed up with Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Macy's to fit local children with winter coats.
Pastrnak was even sporting some great hat hair for the occasion. Check it out:
The holidays are always a nice time to give back to those in need, and it looks like Vatrano and Pastrnak -- two of the youngest members of the Bruins -- had a great time connecting with the children.
The team added to the charitable efforts on Tuesday when they split up into separate groups to divide and conquer children's wards at local hospitals. Teams of players delivered toys to over 600 children who might be stuck in the hospital when Santa comes on Dec. 25 instead of celebrating the holiday at home.
It looks like it was an afternoon well-spent.
