Blues recall forward Derek Armstrong

The St. Louis Blues have recalled forward Derek Armstrong from their American Hockey League affiliate.

The 36-year-old has played in 30 games this season with Peoria, scoring 22 goals.

The center from Ottawa, Ontario, started with the Blues on Dec. 31 and stayed for five games. He played in 56 games last season with the Los Angeles Kings and has played in a total of 471 NHL games, scoring 221 goals.
