Blues' Oshie will sit out two games

Published Mar. 29, 2011 1:00 a.m. ET

St. Louis Blues forward T.J. Oshie will not play the next two games because he missed practice on Monday.

Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said Tuesday that Oshie is not suspended and will not be fined for the unexcused absence.

Oshie will not be allowed to attend Tuesday's home game against the Minnesota Wild and will not travel with the team for Wednesday's game in Detroit.

Oshie missed 31 games this season with a broken ankle.
