ST. LOUIS (AP) The St. Louis Blues, hard-hit by injuries, have invited veterans Martin Havlat and Dainius Zubrus to try out.
Both are former first-round draft picks and played for New Jersey last season.
The 34-year-old Havlat had 14 points in 40 games and the 37-year-old Zubrus had 10 points in 74 games.
Two top forwards, Jaden Schwartz and Paul Stastny, are out with injuries. Schwartz has a broken ankle that will be evaluated in 12 weeks and Stastny has a broken foot and could be out another month or so.
