Blue Jackets joke about Powerball and the Oilers

The Blue Jackets' Twitter account is known as one of the best around the NHL. They are always willing to interact and give necessary feedback. It is literally the entire point of social media – to make sure that fans are well-informed, entertained and engaged.

Sometimes, though, they do like to poke a little fun at the opposition, this time using the popular topic of Powerball.

The joke, of course, after the Oilers won last year's draft lottery to earn the No. 1 overall pick and select Connor McDavid. That luck really cheesed off much of the hockey world as Edmonton has had the No. 1 overall pick in four of the last six drafts yet has not made the postseason even once with the influx of supposed talent.

This season, it's the Blue Jackets who are not having the best season and will likely be praying to the hockey gods come the next draft lottery in June. I am sure the Blue Jackets hope to not only best them on Twitter, but in the draft lottery, too.
