Blackhawks trade Barker to Wild

The Chicago Blackhawks have traded defenseman Cam Barker to the Minnesota Wild for defensemen Kim Johnsson and Nick Leddy.

The 23-year-old Barker, the team's first-round pick in 2004, has 17 goals and 63 assists in 200 career games for Chicago, including four goals and 10 assists in 51 games this season. The 33-year-old Johnsson has six goals and eight assists in 52 games with the Wild this season.

Johnsson has a plus-three rating and led Minnesota with an average ice time of 23 minutes, 46 seconds.

The 18-year-old Leddy was the 16th overall selection in the 2009 draft by the Wild and is currently a freshman at the University of Minnesota.
