Blackhawks have fun with Stanley Cup
UPDATE 6/27: After a day of partying in Chicago on Tuesday, the Cup hopped on a plane Wednesday and headed for New York City, where it and Conn Smythe winner Patrick Kane stormed the Late Show with David Letterman.
Before the taping, the Cup posed for a picture with the Backstreet Boys, because... actually, I’m not so sure why. (OK, if you must know, the Boys were singing the Top 10 on the show that night, a bit that was funnier than I’d like to admit.)
Anyway, after it got its boy band fix, the Cup and its brother the Conn Smythe took the stage with Kane. You can see the whole segment — which ended with Kane and the Cup getting soaked by a fire hose on Broadway — below:

Once the Letterman taping was done, Kane changed into a dry suit and took the Cup back to Chicago, where it partied at ROOF, the rooftop bar at the Wit Hotel:

Previously: Wednesday marks Day 2 of the Chicago Blackhawks’ latest reign as Stanley Cup champions, and thus far, it’s been a busy couple days for the Cup, itself.
At 122 years old, the Cup is getting up there in age, but that hasn’t slowed it down on what has been a whirlwind tour of Chicago’s bar scene.
According to this handy Cup tracker, the team and the trophy arrived at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport at 4:15 a.m. CT on Tuesday:

Then 30 minutes later, at nearly 5 a.m. local time, the Cup made its first stop, at Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse in Rosemont, Ill., where plenty of fans were awaiting its arrival:

After a stop at The Scout restaurant in the South Loop, the Cup took a break at the United Center, home of the Blackhawks:

At 2:45 p.m., after a nice nap, the Cup made its way to Phil Stefani's steakhouse on Rush Street before heading across Michigan Ave. for a stop at WGN radio. Once that business was taken care of, the party got started and things really got interesting.
The Cup stopped in at Gaslight:

And Market, where it took in a nice view of Chicago’s famous skyline:
Then it made its way to Rockit, where Conn Smythe winner Patrick Kane sprayed champagne on people:

And Board Room, where Jonathan Toews went crowd surfing:
And American Junkie, where Kane wore a unicorn mask on his head:
The championship parade is supposed to be Friday in Chicago. After all this partying, let’s hope the players — and the Cup — actually make it.
