Sidelined all season by a knee injury, Chicago Blackhawks forward Adam Burish has been activated from injured reserve.
The 27-year-old Burish tore the ACL in his right knee during a preseason game at Minnesota on Sept. 20 and underwent surgery five days later. He had career highs with six goals and nine points in 66 games last season before collecting three goals and two assists in the playoffs.
Burish has 10 goals and seven assists in 156 regular-season games over the last three years with the Blackhawks.
