The Colorado Avalanche have signed right wing Luke Walker to an entry-level contract.
The Avalanche didn't disclose the terms of the deal announced Tuesday.
Colorado selected the 20-year-old Walker in the fifth round of this year's draft. He scored one goal in two preseason games with Colorado. Walker was reassigned to Lake Erie of the AHL on Sunday.
Walker spent the past three seasons with the WHL's Portland Winterhawks. He had 27 goals and 30 assists in 61 games last season.
