Alex Ovechkin has been spectacular for the Washington Capitals in this year's playoffs, but his goal Saturday against the New York Rangers will be hard to top.
Ovechkin split two defenders, then, while falling to the ice, rifled a shot past Henrik Lundqvist into the far top corner of the net.

The Caps still lost to the Rangers 3-2, because the NHL doesn't give style points on goals.
Only one man in he world can make that play. Alex Ovechkin with his fourth of the playoffs. In-cred-i-ble. #CapitalsTalk

Trotz when asked if Ovechkin is the best player in the world. "On my team he is." (Nice dodge) #Capitals
