WATCH: Vikings CB Munnerlyn steps up, picks off first pass of 2015

The Minnesota Vikings have one of the NFL's stingiest defensive units, and it was on full display during the first half of their Week 12 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. In the first half, the Falcons only mustered three points and turned the ball over twice.
One of Minnesota's takeaways was a picture-perfect interception by slot cornerback Captain Munnerlyn, who read Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan and successfully jumped the route. Check out the play below, courtesy of the Vikings' official Twitter account.

The interception was Munnerlyn's first of the 2015 season. Last season, his first with the Vikings, the former seventh-round selection recorded two. He has a total of 10 picks in his career.
Munnerlyn's impact with Minnesota transcends his interception total. After playing five seasons with the Carolina Panthers, he has become one of the Vikings' many consistent contributors on defense.
