During the Monday Night Football game between the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium, with the home team leading 2-0 in the first quarter, special teams linebacker Shea McClellin executed a perfectly-timed hurdle of the Ravens offensive line to block Justin Tucker's field goal attempt.
If McClellin made contact with any of the Ravens while attempting this acrobatic play, it would have resulted in a personal foul leaping penalty and given the Ravens a fresh set of downs within the red zone -- thus, McClellin's high-risk choice was compensated with a high-reward payoff. Beautifully done.
Wow.
