WATCH: Kevin White runs routes at Soldier Field before 49ers game
For Chicago Bears fans, the most exciting thing to happen at Soldier Field on Sunday might have occurred hours before kickoff.
That's because rookie wide receiver Kevin White, the seventh-overall pick in this year's draft, worked out on the field before the Bears' showdown with the San Francisco 49ers. Watch him run routes and catch passes after months of rehab from surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left shin, courtesy of Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune:
White was considered a long shot to play this year, after spending the entire season on the physically unable to perform list, but these videos are encouraging. Fellow Bears wideout Marc Mariani said White "looks phenomenal" at practice, according to Mark Potash of the Chicago Sun-Times. The team has until Dec. 15 to make a final decision on the rookie's activation.

Maybe there is a chance we'll get to see White suit up for the Bears this season.
