Vikings players mourn loss of Minnesota's Flip Saunders after win

The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Detroit Lions in Week 7, but the victory was followed by a sober celebration for some players.
When the Vikings came off the field, they learned of the passing of Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Flip Saunders, who lost his battle with cancer on Sunday. A handful of players described their feelings on Twitter, as they sent out their thoughts and prayers.
Came out of the game and heard the news of losing Flip. So sad. Thinking about the family and @Timberwolves. Great man.

In August, Saunders announced that he was being treated for what was thought to be a curable case of Hodgkins lymphoma. It wasn't announced that he would miss the 2015-16 NBA season until last Friday, so the news of his sudden death shocked the Vikings and everyone else.
Saunders was 60 years old.
