Vikings K Walsh may be out of his slump after big game in Week 7

It has already been a long season for Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh, who has struggled with accuracy issues since the preseason. On Sunday, however, Walsh showed shades of his former self, as he put forth a performance that resembled his All-Pro rookie season against the Detroit Lions.
During the Vikings' 28-19 win over the Lions, Walsh went five-for-five on field goal attempts. He converted from 22, 35, 37, 51 and 53 yards out. It was one of his personal best performances, as Walsh reestablished a little bit of his old dominance and improved his field-goal percentage to 87.5 percent on the season.
Of course, it was not a flawless outing for Walsh. As great as his field-goal kicking performance was, the fourth-year pro missed one of his two extra-point attempts. He also missed a PAT in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Walsh finished the day with a season-high 16 points.
